Department of Ancient Languages
Department Head: Professor A.V.Podosinov.
Lecturers in the department teach Latin to all undergraduates in the Faculty of History. The department also teaches Latin and Ancient and Byzantine Greek to undergraduate and graduate students specializing in Ancient History, Medieval History, the History of Southern and Western Slavs, Archaeology, and the History of Art.
