The History Faculty at Moscow State University is pleased to invite students from all nations and peoples to consider studying history with us here in Moscow. It is one of the principle missions and beliefs of the University, and particularly the History Faculty, that international students constitute a vital and irreplaceable element within the academic life of any educational institution and that likewise it is in everyone's interest to create a multi-cultural, multi-national community within the university if real and lasting knowledge is to be gained.
The History Faculty works to create a dynamic and supportive environment for its teachers, researchers and students, and firmly believes that international students contribute an immeasurable quantity of energy, ideas and interest for the benefit of the Faculty, its mission, and historical science as a whole. In the same manner, the History Faculty recognizes its own position as facilitator of the educational process, understanding the unique privilege inherent in working with international students, who will likely one day return to their countries of origin, to share the knowledge which they have gained while living abroad. Moscow State University and the History Faculty are excited about this potential and seeks to attract students from all over the world, so that our part of it may be better understood.
